Laurence Xu presented her third autumn-winter collection 2017-2018 at the Intercontinental Hotel Paris Le Grand in Paris. A collection inspired by works by two great Chinese painters, Li Keran and Zhang Daqian.
The silhouettes and familiar shapes in Chinese couture are modernized to appeal to Western tastes and those of modern Asian tastes. A collection with ornate images and exquisite embroidery. We also find creations in silk, velvet, lace, silk tulle and fur in some pieces.
