Nehera, presented his fall-winter 2019/20 collection in Paris. In this collection, the focus is on the creative woman (the woman as an artist). The artist’s functional working attire sparks inspiration for the season in smock shirting, lab coats and other workwear, while the show pieces are curated to harness a bolder and more polished feel, incorporating tailored, sleek and structured pieces.

Channelling the spirit of Hannah Hoch and Emilie Flöge, this season’s woman emerges from the studio, introducing both her work and herself to the outside world. Matching this vision, main collection sees a more polished feel, with sleek satin garments that softly drape around the body. Entering this environment with ease, the woman wears a lab-coat inspired dress in comfortable poplin or in viscose with a more elegant sheen.

Structured silhouettes such as a leather coat and shearling aviator jacket show a bolder attitude and tougher approach. A sharp suit with a cropped tailored jacket has a refined approach to formal dressing, while a contemporary variation of a smock lends a more relaxed feel to skirts and dresses. Volume is created around the body with wadded pieces, a structured rib knit and a kaftan dress, while areas of the skin are revealed in semi-sheer panelling on tops.

Colourful graphics are placed on panelled jacquard knitwear and printed viscose pieces. This season’s colour evolves from last collections palette of blues, browns and honey, bringing with it vigorous orange, light blue denim and steel grey.

Emotive message of creativity as a measure of inner strength of any entity and celebration of art is enhanced by collaboration with renowned Slovak visual artist. Graphic patterns were prepared exclusively for NEHERA by Ondrej Rudavsky, a filmmaker, director, animator, graphic designer, sculptor, multi-genre visual artist.
