Jean Paul Gaultier presented his autumn-winter collection 2017-2018 in his workshops on rue Saint-Martin in Paris. A collection inspired by ski resorts. Jean Paul Gaultier unleashed a « snow storm » with obvious Indian touches on the podium.
The models parade in oversized sweaters, hooked vests and velvet ski pants. A real winter show in the middle of July. Gaultier admitted that his theme was somewhat ironic, as his collection extended from lushly textured outer garments to diaphanous inspired dresses of saris, in the reasoning of the designer being that he is also snowing in India.

There was a chiseled black rabbit fur jacket shining with jet beads, an Aran pullover shaped like pearls lined with mink or a quilted velvet coat with kimono sleeves. A spiritual touch, with bobble hats worn with plenty of evening gowns, including a flowing orange jersey tunic with a knitted work.
