Guo Pei presented his fourth haute couture collection fall-winter 2017-2018, in the prestigious Hotel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris. A collection in tribute to the golden age of haute couture, in collaboration with the jewelry brand Chopard by Caroline Scheufele.

Guo Pei has selected the most trendy materials and privileged from classic lines to delicate fabrics to sublimate the feminine silhouette. Metallic textured shine and moiré colors enrich the aesthetics of the collection. This season, complex constructions and superpositions give an impression of illusion while highlighting the freshness of the silhouettes.

Embroideries, pearls and artisanal craftsmanship form the signature of Guo Pei. Its embroidery in relief combined with delicate ornaments sublimate the rhythmic aspect of the collection and give it a very lively feminine charm.

For this collection, Guo Pei worked hand in hand with Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of Chopard, in order to express an ideal vision of Couture and Haute Joaillerie.

The two women have an artistic taste in common, they have managed to create a mixture of Chinese and Western aesthetic culture, perfect fusion of fashion and jewelry.

Through this common parade with Guo Pei, an innovative and promising form of feminine solidarity is expressed by Caroline Scheufele: women are never as strong as when they unite their talents.
