Enami, presented the autumn-winter 2019/20 collection in Paris. The theme of this collection is oppression. The complexity of digital information flows and the increasingly unstable socio-political context generate a particularly invasive feeling.

This ubiquitous instability is channeled into rigid, voluminous and asymmetrical shapes, as well as contrasting fabrics : thick wool, technical materials and raphia. The looks are customised with a concrete iPhone case bag and metal sheet jewels – transformed from car bodywork by Thismx jewelry.

ENAMI appropriates and twists Yamaha’s visual branding into a tense collection.
Designer Imane Mejahed sticks to her grounds: construction and deconstruction dynamics evolve through exclusively black pieces.
ENAMI is a Paris-based brand founded in 2017 by Imane Medjahed. ENAMI is an essentialism, reducing the garment to cut and attitude.

No gender presupposition, neither style postulate. It revolves around a freedom of construction which triggers a dialogue with the garments.
Through a monochrome palette which reflects the designer’s personal inspirations, ENAMI is also a challenge : how to transform the dullness of colors into a creative process.
