CELIA KRITHARIOTI COUTURE – SPRING-SUMMER 2019

Celia Kritharioti, presented her new collection Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2019 entitled “Cirque des couleurs” in Paris.
In this season the designer presents a colorful game, a sublime and playful collection, launching her magic spells: a parade of femininity, elegance and class, a living performance of precious fabrics, a daring combination of colors and theatrical forms.

The collection looks like a dream: ethereal creations in the most beautiful colors such as bright orange, bright pink, Indian pink and bright red, sky and aqua blue, yellow. Silk taffeta in fluorescent colors, silk tulle creating illusions, metallic organza and delicate lace that all women love find their place on the catwalk, alongside creations made of chains, pearls and precious stones, two pieces with coats and evening dresses.

The handmade fringes offer a dreamlike movement to the creations, while the House continues its legacy since 1906 in hand embroidery and this season finds it is applied to floor length dresses and shimmering catsuits, mini skirts and dresses with matching embroidered leggings. Ostrich pastel-colored plumes create a magical illusion of gracefully floating patterns on a tightrope.
