Boris Bidjan Saberi, presented the autumn-winter 2019/20 collection at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. For this season the creator finds inspiration in an imaginary journey into the Mongol Empire with notes from Iran, home of Boris Bidjan Siberi’s father.
This collection presents many layers of cotton in natural shades, patinated with real copper. Mesh, voluminous, ties, harnesses and graphic stripes on parkas and cashmere coats create an oversized effect. The long hooded parkas looked like kote and do.
Long knitted tunics look like coats of mail. The vests were padded in Mongolian fashion and accessorized with harnesses. The colors were neutral tone on tone; such as shades of black, gray and charcoal, creams and white, muted flesh and soft brown, as well as mint green and petrol.
This collection has transported us into the imaginary world of the creator who finds his inspiration in the Mongol Empire with a refinement for the man of this season.
